Jakost povrchových a podzemních vod v zemědělsky využívaných oblastech Quality of groundwater and surface water in areas used for agricultural purposes Magdalena Šímová Bakalářská práce Abstract This bachelor thesis deals with the quality of groundwater and surface water from areas that are agriculturally used. Acquaints with the sources of contamination from agriculture: manures and industrial fertilizers and pesticides. Nowadays many substances are used for agricultural production to ensure greater yields of quality crops. With a growing population is used more different types of fertilizer to improve the soil and stimulate plant growth. Pesticides are substances capable of guaranteeing high quality and sufficient quantity of the harvest. Although there are many negative features, their role in agricultural production is irreplaceable: it protects plants from various pests from the plant and animal kingdom. In the thesis I deal with the composition, characteristics and applications of these substances. I also summarize the various elements and compounds contained in them, which are the most common environmental pollution: nitrogen and phosphorus compounds, heavy metals and pesticides. Explains the possibility of the spread of these contaminants in the soil and aquatic environments and ongoing reactions....

Zhodnocení revitalizace biocentra Pod Horkou - Prštice

The bachelor thesis deals with an issue of watercourses and their revitalizations. It refers to a quality of water basins as well. First part of the bachelor thesis consists of the theoretical part. It contains of literature research, what describes the revitalisation process. Furthermore, it contains information about water quality, water pollution and fish migration. In the second part of the thesis, there is a revitalisation of biocentre Pod Horkou Prštice. It includes description of this area and a characteristic of the natural conditions. In this part, there are results from the terrain research. In the conclusion, there is a comparison of measured values with alloved limits for surface water, according to NV 401/2015 and ČSN 75 7221. At the end, there is an assessment of the revitalisation

Problematika revitalizace Holáseckých jezer

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of water flows from the viewpoint of the return to state close to the nature and quality of water. The theoretical part poses literature research about general issue of revitalisation, water polution and quality of water. The rest of thesis devote to specific situation of natural memory Holásecká jezera. It includes a charakteristic of interest area, short description of a plan of revitalisation and results of a field exploration. A monitoring of quality of water is also a part of thesis. The results of monitoring are compared with the results of last monitoring in 2008.

Revize ochranných pásem vybraného vodního zdroje

The bachelor thesis deals with an issue of protective areas of water resources, specifically ground water resources, which supply a drinkable water of Dlouhá Lhota. The thesis is separated into a several chapters. Literature research is the first chapter and it describes water management legislation, it also deals with an issue of water quality, water pollution and ways to protect watercourses. In next chapters there is a characteristic of the area, in which there are assessments of natural and water management conditions. The thesis detailed describes water resource and its parameters. After that, there is an analysis of risk, which endanger water quality, water quantity and health of water resources. With help of a few graphs, there are evaluated some water quality values: pH, colour, turbidity, ammonium ions, nitrates, nitrites, manganese, iron and CHSKMn. Based on these values there are some proposed measures, which should improve water quality of ground water resource of Dlouhá Lhota. Zones of hygienic protection ensure the protection of water source, which was established in the 80's of last century and now these are inconvenient. The next point is proposal of revision according to valid legislation.

Zhodnocení kvality vody a sedimentu ve vodní nádrži Opatovice

This thesis deals with measuring of water quality and phytotoxicity of sediments in the Opatovice reservoir which is situated in Vyškov, in the South Moravian Region. The first part of thesis is literary research and it is focused on related legislation, types of water, protect of water, reservoirs of water, sediments, water quality and ekotoxikology. The second part is focused on Opatovice reservoir. There is a destription of nature conditions of reservoir and its technical specifications. Last part is evaluation of selected indicators of water quality and evaluation of phytotoxicity of a sediment sample. The results of thesis shows that Opatovice reservoir has not problems with water quality and its sediment is not phytotoxic.

Zhodnocení stavu povodí Kovalovického potoka

This bachelor thesis The evaluation of the river basin condition of the Kovalovický potok deals with monitoring of concrete water quality indicators. The following parameters were observed: dissolved oxygen, conductivity, pH, temperature, nitrate nitrogen, total phosphorus, orthophosphates and chemical oxygen demand. The monitoring took place between the March 2017 and February 2018 on eight profiles, where the water was taken. The theoretical part is focused on general information about water and its basic sorting, surface water quality and its pollution and water erosion issues. Then, there are selected indicators of surface water quality and their characteristics, as well as chosen legislation dealing with surface water pollution. The practical part is concentrated on the river basin characteristic, description of the sampling points and description of the field and laboratory work. An important part is the results of the measurement and discussion in which these results are compared with ČSN 75 7221 and NV 401/2015 Sb. The results show that the largest pollution is caused by sewage that is illegally discharged into the watercourse.

Vliv chemických zdrojů znečištění na jakost povrchových vod v povodí Horní Vltavy

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of surface water pollution, which is one of the biggest problems of the contemporary world. The pollution of watercourses and reservoirs worsens the quality of aquatic ecosystems as well as ecosystems in their surroundings. The typical sources of surface water pollution include especially point sources (human settlements, industrial sites) and land resources (agriculture). While the point sources of pollution can be monitored, the situation is far more complicated for the field sources. In agricultural farming, the fertilizer residues, pesticides and other substances come into the groundwater and the surface water. The aim of this work is to find out the quality of surface water in the measuring profiles (river Malše), to find out the hydrological situation during the year and to evaluate the impact of chemical pollution sources influencing the quality of the surface water in the river basin.

Monitoring of water quality in protected area Křivoklátsko

Nowadays, nature is constantly being polluted by anthropogenic activities. All components of the environment should be therefore monitored, including water quality. This paper focuses on surface waters in the Protected Area Křivoklátsko. The main purpose of monitoring is to obtain information about the current state of watercourses compared to the previous period and to determine the degree of purity in accordance with relevant standards. The theoretical part describes the basic information about the site that was the source of the water samples and also a brief history of the water quality assessment in the Czech Republic and worldwide is included. The practical part describes the basic characteristics of the given parameters and their practical determination. This is followed by the evaluation of the measurement results that is arranged in tables according to the legislation (CSN 75 7221). The paper concludes with the evaluation of results of quality monitoring and with comparing the current situation to the previous reporting period at each sampling point. Bachelor thesis Evaluation of watercourse Úmoří deals with small streams. Its aim is to evaluate a given watercourse and propose solutions to the unsatisfactory state. The work includes a literature review, which generally describes water as an essential natural ingredient, its chemical composition, rivers, their revitalization, including water legislation. In the rest of the work, the issues selected watercourse, including a detailed description of the characteristics of its watershed. Part of this work was to take samples of water and measuring indicators monitored in the field and in the laboratory and their evaluation, which is necessary to evaluate water quality. The obtained results were proposed measures to improve the condition of the watercourse.
